6 Ways to Buy Wedding Decor Without Breaking the Bank!

Decorations play a huge role in your wedding day! Decorations are a perfect way to set your wedding apart and make it unique to you and your spouse. Here’s a few tips on how to get some really nice items that look very high end when really they are NOT!

  1. Go to Goodwill!

Yes, I said it! I got several decorations and items from my local goodwill that I used in my wedding! There are several things that just need to be painted a different color and will work perfectly! In my wedding I used a lot of gold pieces and was able to get several of them from goodwill! What wasn’t gold I simply spray painted with a shiny gold and it was perfect!

  1. Search Facebook Marketplace!

I also got several great pieces from local people who were selling their decor on Facebook! A lot of times people will sell their decor not long after their wedding for cheaper prices than if you buy them new and they are still in really great condition because they were only used once for their big day!

  1. Go to Hobby Lobby!

Well this is an easy one isn’t it!? Who doesn’t love to go to hobby lobby!? Lol But seriously you can catch some really good deals here because they put wedding decorations and other wedding related items on sale periodically as well as they always have a coupon for 40% off one regular priced item! So go start stocking up now!!

  1. Yard sales/garage sales!

Sometimes you can find some really good affordable wedding items at yard sales if you’re feeling thrifty! Check your local newspaper for any upcoming yard sales and see what you can find!

  1. Amazon!

Of course, we can’t forget about the obvious! I was able to get several items from amazon for a reasonable price. Also Prime two day shipping really came in handy for those last minute buys right before the big day! I also used https://www.efavormart.com/ to get really good prices on table runners, napkins, ect.

  1. Walgreens!

Okay this one is a great one! I really wanted to have a big print out of our engagement photos displayed by our cake as well as a large print of our day of timeline by the front door of the wedding venue. SO to save some $$$ I sent these to Walgreens and had them printed as a poster! Walgreens ALWAYS has a coupon for prints! So you can really save money having it printed as a poster as well as using a coupon! I also used Walgreens to print photos for my “In Memory Of” table as well as other small signs.
